Journal Overview
Media and Communication Currents (MCC) is a bi-annual publication of the Faculty of Communication and Media Studies, University of Maiduguri Nigeria started in 2016, under the Department of Mass Communication, which is now expanded to a faculty with seven (7) departments.
The Departments are: Departments of: Mass Communication, Journalism and Media Studies, Broadcasting, Film and Multimedia Studies, Development Communication Studies, Public Relations, as well as Advertising.
Mission and Scope
MCC Journal is devoted to intellectual thinking, based on historical, epistemological, methodological, theoretical, and technical/policy discourses and expositions on any aspect of media and communication.
